I have one rule about rain boots–they should be light on your feet but hefty from an aesthetic standpoint. My favorite pair is actually from a designer brand: Chloe’s Betty Rain Boots ($595). These are not your average rain boots. I love the edgy sole and slim design (and they’re surprisingly easy to wear!) Plus the side zippers give a flattering, more feminine touch.

Duck boots have been a fall/winter staple of mine for years, as they keep my feet dry and warm during hikes and other outdoor activities. But they’re often heavy and bulky–which I’m not a big fan of.
